Longest one-piece panels

This month the Glasatelier constructed the longest one-piece stained glass panels that they have constructed. The panels were 360 and 80 x 80 x 316 cm. The lead was replaced to avoid the danger that the panels would sag.

The Glasatelier is busy with the restoration of 168 panels. Everything will be set newly in lead came; breaks and mis-colors will be replaced in the proper manner of a restoration. Afterwards the stained glass will be set in brass. On the outside of the church a protective glass layer will be installed.

The Glasatelier made a ship for a private party. Painted stained glass, size: 20 x 29 cm. The first picture shows the state after the first layer grisaille. After this, each of the colors was applied and fired in a separate layer.

The Glasatelier made an Art-Nouveau-style panel based on a design by Marcel Wouters. A name was painted in transparent red paint on light blue and yellow glass.

Size: 76x98 cm. The panel will be placed in double glazing.

The Glasatelier created a window that was designed by Marcel Wouters in the style of Art Nouveau. On a background of light blue and yellow glass there is a name painted in transparent red paint in the style of around 1910.

Size: 76x98 cm. The window will be placed inside triple glazing.
